Spiderman 3

Just came back from the movie. Kinda dissapointed... the whole story seems
very unfocus. Pieces here and there. Too many things happening at the same
time. 3 villians! I would scrap off the standstorm guy (what's his name
called?) and the Jr Green Goblin.

If I were directing the Spiderman 3, I'll focus the whole story in Venom,
and how Spiderman turns evil, and struggling turning back to normal (perhaps
more like the first Green Goblin thingy)

I'll save The sandstorm guy for next Spiderman 4. Is this Sandstorm guy
appeared in the comic before? I don't seems remembering him in the comic
strip though.

Sandman was one of Spidey's original foes in the comics version. He
appeared early on, and was in the same era as the Vulture, Goblin, the
Lizard, Doc Ock, etc.

I guess they put in the multiple villains to add more oomph to the
storyline and pack in the audience. I don't mind that. Even in the
comics, Spidey had at times face 2,3 villains at a time.

My main gripe about Spiderman 3 was that they conveniently discard one
of Spidey's main powers, that was the Spider Sense. Nobody can ever
sneak up or ambush Spiderman because of this special power. That's how
he can dodge bullets, for goodness sake.

In this movie, how many times did he get whacked from behind? And that
scene where he was surprised and yanked off the floor by Venom?
Shouldn't have happened. Heck, by right the spider sense would have
warned him of impending danger as he was about to kiss Gwen.

the necklace go along huh?

The necklace is made of adamantium. You cant disintegrate that, ever. :p

Ha, I see. So the Sandman has something for adamantium huh? The look at his
eyes everytime he stares at the adamantium necklace. He's so gonna fall in
love with Wolverine!

Well according to the comics, Venom can override Spidey's Spider Sense, So
Spider sense is useless against Venom. This is because of Spider being
Venom's host before.

The venom symbiote doesn't trigger spider sense. That's from the comics
anyway.

Oh.... so that's why. I stopped reading Spiderman about the time of the
cosmic wars where Spidey found the symbiote suit in space.

But still, that doesn't explain him getting bushwhacked by Harry/Goblin.
