Eh why tmnet.movies so empty?

Classic film by Akira Kurosawa, about a samurai who tries to clean
up a town with two opposing thug clans by pretending to work for them.
Really good and keeps you glued although it's an old black and white
movie, quite as good as the The Seven Samurais. IINM there was
a Clint Eastwood film that roughly had the same premise, ie, trying
to get two warring clans to fight each other while making money in the
middle. Btw, I think Yojimbo means bodyguard in Japanese.

IINM, Demi Moore's ex acted in a Hollywood rip-off of that classic, Last
Man Standing.

Try Sanjuro too! & Hidden Fortress... & Red Beard

I thought Sanjuro was better than Yojimbo... especially the way the story
starts and drags you in immediately.

Hidden Fortress is really good. The Princess in the movie is one tough
girl.

Red Beard is not a samurai movie... but it is a very powerful and
emotional movie.
